what if you had a full time, qualified, experienced teacher in your corner to prepare all of your lesson and assessment materials for you.

We're Ryan and Paula with MSELA. With over 30 combined years in education, we have the necessary skills to help you and your students be successful with a variety of learning opportunities.
MSELA is designed and maintained by us, who are currently active public school educators who keep up with the current trends in education and combine the newest activities with the tried and true methods that have worked for over half a century in both rural and urban settings.

Lessons for Middle School English Language Arts are very specific and so very important for the academic and social growth of our children.

You are taking the elementary school child who has just finished learning basic spelling and grammar and are preparing them for high school English - to read a large verity of international literature and prepare and complete much more complex projects.

This site was specifically designed to assist classroom teachers to have one location where you can access all of the organization framework and materials that you need to introduce, teach and assess learners using a combination of our proprietary PISPA model, Gradual Release of Responsibility and (revised) Blooms Taxonomy.

In addition to the lesson materials, MSELA also offers a social platform for you to communicate with other MSELA teachers from around the globe and offer and receive assistance on various areas of the profession of education!

Whether you are a novice or a veteran teacher, you will benefit from being a member of our global professional learning community!

Read on to learn more about who we are and how we can seve you!

Hi! I am Ryan - and I love teaching! I started working in education as an AM playground safety monitor when I was 18. While attending college, I worked as full-time campus safety monitor, a paraeducator for ESL and special education. I moved forward to earn a Bachelor's in Reading Education, a Masters in Special Education, a Specialist in Education Leadership and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education Leadership.

I have substitute-taught at every single grade level from Pre-K to twelfth grade. As a teacher of record, I've taught middle school-level English and remedial reading in Title 1 non-title schools in rural and urban settings in two countries and three states and am endorsed in K-12 reading, special education, ESL, technology applications, 4-8 generalist as well as K-12 administration. Let me put my qualifications and experience to work for you!
